As for Grace, she is attending the school of making big messes and being as darling as ever. I am just beginning the school of how not to be the hugest mother hen of this brood.

Emma: Yup!
Mom: I haven't heard you for a long time.
Emma: I toot in the closet!

Sarah: Yahoo! Mexican Food.
Mom:Well it is really Chinese food.
Sarah: Oops, My bad.

Ben: I wonder what Grace is going to think when she finds out that you are stronger than you look.
Mom: Ummm, what do you mean?
Ben: You are stronger than you look.
Mom: So, do I look weak usually?
Ben: Well, your arm is kind of big and floppy but its actually very strong.
Mom: [Don't ask how he knows its strong. Quit while you're ahead] Hmmm.

Yay!! I think this may be 2 days in a row..wahoo!! Welcome back:) Your students are all darling...good luck in the hen house. No doubt Gracie will be first to earn her graduate degree!

Awesome pictures! I wish I had looked that bright-eyed on my first day back. By 6th period I'm in serious need of a nap. My poor students must think I'm loopy.
Hi Nancy. I'd caught a glimpse of your blog and was wondering if you guys were really here or if I was reading that wrong. Any idea how long you'll be here? I'd love to get together in the near future. Once I'm past the whole birth/recovery bit, we'll have to make plans. Talk to you soon.
